These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the iDrone Property Services website and the services we provide. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Definitions
- "Company", "we", "us", "our" refers to iDrone Property Services, operating from , , .
- "Client", "you", "your" refers to the individual or business entity booking and paying for our services.
- "Services" refers to all services offered by us, including but not limited to drone photography, video tours, interior photography, twilight photography, virtual tours, floor plans, energy performance certificates, and property viewings.
- "Booking" refers to a confirmed reservation for one or more Services at a specified date and time.
- "Deliverables" refers to the photographs, videos, floor plans, certificates, reports, or other materials produced as a result of the Services.
- "Property" refers to the real estate property at which Services are to be performed.
- "Deposit" refers to the non-refundable advance payment of 25% of the total booking value.
2. Service Description
2.1. We provide professional property services as listed on our website. The scope, pricing, and estimated duration of each service are detailed on our Services page.
2.2. All aerial photography and video services are carried out by CAA certified drone pilots in accordance with current UK aviation regulations.
2.3. We reserve the right to decline a booking if the property location falls within a restricted airspace zone, or if weather conditions or other factors make aerial operations unsafe or impractical.
2.4. Delivery of Deliverables is typically within 48 hours of the service visit, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Booking and Confirmation
3.1. Bookings are made through our website by selecting services, choosing an available date and time slot, providing property and contact details, and completing payment.
3.2. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment (either deposit or full payment). You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference and details.
3.3. By making a booking, you confirm that you have the legal right to grant access to the Property for the purposes of delivering the Services.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1. You may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge (excluding the deposit) provided you give us at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment.
4.2. The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances.
4.3. If a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full booking amount will be charged and is non-refundable.
4.4. If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather conditions, airspace restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer an alternative date at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative can be agreed, we will refund all payments except the deposit.
4.5. If we need to cancel for reasons within our control, we will offer a full refund including the deposit.
5. Payment Terms
5.1. All prices are listed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2. At the time of booking, you may choose to pay either a 25% non-refundable deposit or the full amount. If a deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due before or at the time of the service visit.
5.3. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
5.4. Deliverables will not be released until full payment has been received.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Upon receipt of full payment, the Client is granted ownership and full usage rights to all Deliverables produced for their booking. This includes the right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the photographs, videos, and other media for any lawful purpose.
6.2. Until full payment is received, all intellectual property rights in the Deliverables remain with iDrone Property Services.
6.3. We reserve the right to use anonymised or non-identifiable samples of our work (e.g., exterior photographs) in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
6.4. The website design, branding, logos, and textual content on the iDrone Property Services website remain the intellectual property of iDrone Property Services and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1. You are responsible for ensuring the Property is accessible at the agreed date and time.
7.2. You must ensure the Property is in a suitable condition for photography or the relevant Service (e.g., tidy, well-lit, safe to access).
7.3. You must provide accurate property address and access instructions at the time of booking.
7.4. If our team is unable to access the Property at the scheduled time due to your failure to provide access, this will be treated as a late cancellation under section 4.3.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Our total liability to you in respect of any single booking shall not exceed the total amount paid for that booking.
8.2. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity, howsoever arising.
8.3. While we take every care to produce high-quality Deliverables, we do not guarantee that the Services will result in the sale or letting of the Property.
8.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Airspace restrictions or NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) closures
- Government actions or regulatory changes
- Natural disasters or acts of God
- Civil unrest, strikes, or industrial action
- Epidemics or pandemics
- Power failures or telecommunications outages
9.2. In the event of a force majeure, we will notify you as soon as practicable and make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected Services.
10. Complaints
10.1. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our Services, please contact us at hello@idroneproperty.co.uk within 14 days of receiving the Deliverables.
10.2. We will investigate your complaint and respond within 10 business days. Where appropriate, we will offer to re-shoot or correct the Deliverables at no additional charge.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
11.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
11.3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Amendments
12.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised "last updated" date.
12.2. Any bookings made prior to a change in Terms will be subject to the Terms in effect at the time the booking was confirmed.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
